Following a comprehensive national search, President Mark R. Nemec, PhD, and Executive Vice President and COO Kevin Lawlor, announced that Corry D. Unis will be joining ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp as vice president for strategic enrollment management, effective September 17, 2018.
Since 2013, Mr. Unis has served as the vice president of enrollment at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. During his time at King’s College, Mr. Unis implemented new and innovative practices including predictive modeling, advanced analytics, and the use of data to define and identify key recruitment markets. As a result, the college successfully increased enrollments, selectivity, and net tuition revenue. King's College’s academic profile also rose significantly, as did the sustainable growth of applications and enrollments from international students and students from non-traditional recruitment areas.
Prior to joining King’s College, Mr. Unis served as director of admissions at Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y., and as associate director of admission, among other positions, at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. He holds a BA in political science from Le Moyne College and an MS in higher education management from Syracuse University.
With his combined knowledge, experience, and values, Mr. Unis will play a vital role in supporting the mission, growth, and continued success of ¶¶Òô»ÆƬapp, through efforts to expand the school's reach on a national level, to raise the academic benchmark for enrollees, and to shape future classes that are culturally, socio-economically, and geographically diverse.
